I just built my first gaming PC on Thursday. After I installed Windows everything worked fine but the next day right when I was about to get off the screen lagged really bad and it was all glitched up so I turned it off and then it wouldn't boot. I tried clearing the CMOS checked all connections unplugged non needed components and nothing btw the way I only have one ddr4 ram so I put it in another slot and it booted. It worked good for another day but when I turned it off again no post I tried moving the ram to a different slot again and nothing it's not working in any slot.
I have an i7 6700k
MSI z170a
GTX 1050 ti
Corsair 450 80 plus
1 8gb Kingston hyper x fury ddr4 2133
WD blue b2
Any help will be much appreciated!

Hi Austinb,

So, when you press the power button you get no signal on monitor, right? Are there any noises coming from the PC? Can you hear the cooling fans running and the initial beep signal? If you try to boot with no memory inserted, can you hear a longer beeping?
I would start by testing the RAM memory on another PC. If by pressing the power button, you get no noises and it is as if you haven’t pressed the button, there may be a power related issue and you may need to have your power supply unit tested.
Please, let me know if there is any progress!

Hope this helps
