I can't watch certain videos or see ads
Closed
Hello,
I'm stuck... I am a nooby at computers, so I deleted Java, thinking I didnt need it. Either that or something else was the cause, but for some reason I can't watch certain videos, or view my playlist from playlist.com, watch certain ads, etc. I re-downloaded it, and it still does the same thing. A clear blank box where the video should be, with a white little tiny box at the top left with colors in it.
I checked my tools, and JAVA is enabled. What could be doing this? I can watch Youtube videos, but for certain videos or even pictures I can't view them, (No, not porn) So help, please, I have no idea :(

But I have that, I just installed that again too, just in case I deleted it somehow. I am getting annoyed with this, I have no idea what could be the cause...

Hello there,
All you need to do is uninstall previous versions of adobe flash including the latest one and then re-download the flash player from adobe.com

Odds are you deleted the folder in my computer and didn't remove it with the un-installer. You have to use the Add/Remove program link that is in the Control panel. Once you've removed all the adobe programs, restart your computer, download the latest Flash, Reader, etc... and install. Once they have installed, restart again. If they still don't work, try the whole process again. Uninstall, restart, install, restart. If they STILL don't work, you might have an ISP that is blocking the content.
Just an idea...
