Hi Tbitw,
Is the card working normally when connected to a smart phone or to a tablet? Test the card on another PC and check if there will be any difference. I strongly recommend you to backup all important data and format the card. If it is not possible to format it using Disk Management, run the Command Prompt and type the following commands:
Diskpart
List disk
Select disk n (n must be the number of the drive)
Clean
This way you will erase all content and delete all partition on the card. GO back to Disk Management and try to format the card.
