IPod 5th Gen won't turn on

My IPod will randomly just not turn on unless I hold down the home button and on/off button, but my home button is broken now so I can't do that anymore, I've even tried to restore it through PC but no laptop will even register it, is there any way I can turn it on without having to get my home button fixed? Thank you.
