Acer Aspire One Netbook : cannot launch Wifi hotspot

I have an Acer One Aspire Netbook and cannot use my Mobile Hotspot.
In SETTINGS I click on Wifi, and activate the Wifi, then click on Mobile Hotspot, which is when I get a message that reads : Cannot activate Mobile Hotspot, because there is no Ethernet or Wifi connection.
I reckon it must be a Win 10 issue (the laptop was bought with Win Xp, updated to Win 10), because I have updated my Wifi Broadcomm drivers. Still same issue.
Anybody else had this problem ??
