Lenovo Laptop will only type numbers (6 and 4)

Hello,
My Lenovo laptop will ONLY type 6's and 4's when I press letters on the keyboard. I've tried pressing the FN key with the NUM lock key to no avail.

I had the same problem--a lot of problems cropped up simultaneously. (Only "6"s when typing, no speakers, fan constantly runs on high, power light constantly flashes, system thinks battery is at full power when it isn't).

same thing happen to my Lenovo Flex 3, and i just drain the battery all the way, and got it "fixed"

Hello,
I have this problem with my keyboard recently. Whenever I press "S" on the keyboard, it comes out as "9".
I tried changing its region and language but it does not work. I'm using windows 10 on my desktop.

"W" = "Backspace"
"A" = "q"

I need help! thanks

Keyboard typing wrong characters, some keys don't register

Hello, I went through the process of cleaning my mouse while the monitor was off and I'm fairly sure I clicked something maybe I shouldn't have but after that the whole keyboard was messed up..

E shows up as ]
Esc, start, [ , F1-F12 keys don't register, among a few others..

Things I've tried so I don't waste anyones time.. [Windows 7]
Changed Location, Keyboard Layout (English - US) is the only language
Ctrl - Shift x1/2, Alt - Shift x1/2, and pretty much any other variant I could think of.
Plugged another keyboard in, same thing.
Plugged keyboard in another computer, works like a charm.
Restarted, plugged and unplugged....

Lenovo laptop keys doing the wrong things!

Hello,

Need a little bit of assistance with my Lenovo laptop! The number keys (and that whole row of keys) don't appear to be functioning properly. Instead of typing numbers, they either perform an action such as close the window I'm on, or will type random letters/numbers/symbols. eg the number key "6" types out "hy6j7n". All the keys in that row, uncluding the backspace key do not function properly.

The computer was previously Czech (Windows 7's system language) but have changed everything to UK including adding the English language and changing region/keyboard/etc. This seems to be a software issue as far as I can see.

I can't figure this o...

Hello,
I have the right side of my keyboard that will not enter the backslash..it gives me letters with a little deally on top....I want to get the backslash working...do not need more letters.....I am trying to install a security program...soon...System Configuration: Windows Vista

Hello,

Have a keyboard that will go wierd and type the wrong letters. Have already changed to a new keyboard so it is not that - It does not do it all the time - but is getting more and more often that it does. It is a microsoft keyboard - there has not been anything spilt on it. Any suggestions please!System Configuration: Windows XP
