Bios software replaced

Hello,
i have installed a bios driver wich i have down loaded from internet.after completion of the bios software the laptop has been restarted , but it does not boot...hard disc is running , but the HDD led is off. i cannot see anything on the screen accept the hp logo in a dim and faded way..

pls help me .

You incorrectly flashed your BIOS or flashed it with a corrupt BIOS file. I doubt you can pull the BIOS chip out, since it is most likely integrated into the laptop motherboard. Every HP computer that I have owned I have had to flash using the floppy drive, and not in Windows. My opinion is you have basically destroyed your computer. How does it feel?
