Ares 3.1.9.4045 won't connect Closed

Question

Hello, 

We installed Ares 3.1.9.4045 and using Windows 7 and it says connecting. But won't connect????  The firewall has been disabled for the program so we can't figure his out   HELP!!

Ok, in your network location, what is it set to?  Windows 7 has a minor bug in that it won't allow the local routing until you set a location.  It sometimes does not prompt for a lcation, so you have to manually set it up, in network setings.  Select Home, work, or public! 

If you can browse and do other things, then maybe the configuration is not correct.  Check out the support page here (oh, there isn't one.  I would uninstall that software immediatly!):
