RCT tablet wont pick up any Wi-Fi connections

hi I have a RCT tablet, the one with the detachable keyboard, I have been having a nightmare with the connection issues it has been having. it seems that it wont pick up any Wi-Fi connections when I know that there are some available, infact it wont even scan for any other devices. I've tried to reboot it from the boot loader menu, I've tried to reset all my data, I've even tried to use that little button on the back of it, and still nothing, how do I fix theses issues that I am having

I just read that it may be a loose connection:
"But I was able to connect to the wifi on it and leave this reply by pinching my fingers about where the sd card port is (near the volume buttons)."
