I am confused on the Safe Reset

Hi, when I get into safe mode it says I have to plug in a USB and click the power button. That isn't possible to do because my usb isn't recognized when I plug it in. There is no way bluetooh will work, so can you please show me how I get in safe mode...

The blue tooth works. I would not have written up the instruction set if it didn't. If the controller is charged, it will connect. If you cannot charge it because the USB is down, plug into the USB on your PC and charge it with any USB charging station!
