Missing partition

Hello,

Its an old forum but I have a issue with my window 7.
My secondary active partition gone after mucking around with Partition magic and Samsung Recovery.
It doesn't show on my computer, and windows wont let me to assign letter on Disk Mng saying console view not up to date.
any way to assign letter somehow and get back my partition?

If Partition Magic failed to restore the partition. Then I suspect it's gone forever.

I would replace the entire hard drive as I suspect it has a hardware issue.

I can see the partition on Partition Master and assign a letter, but still wont show up in windows.
I might have accidentally made the partition active :(
