Hi David,
I have reviewed your article and have already attempted those steps prior to searching this same question this user had. The problem is that the nvlddmkm.sys file is missing, even while viewing hidden files. There is no file to rename as nvlddmkm.sys.old, and if attempting these steps anyway, returns as "Can't open input file: nvlddmkm.sy_."
Your article does not include troubleshooting steps beyond the initial instruction. Do you have any further resources regarding this issue?
