100% Packet lost, but i can access the website

Hey,

Another weird thing I'm not getting. I can access a website, but when I pinged it, I've got 100% packet lost. Any explanations ? (feel free to send me documentation, I've read some stuff but any relevant doc is welcome !)

100% Packet lost, but i can access the website

SOme site deny ping request. If they accepted them, you could ping them with a chain of HUGE packets, and shut it down (deny of service).

What !!! Shuting down a website with pings in 2018 ?
Your answer makes sens tho, it also explain why I couldnt trace it with traceroute (since it is ICMP too, right ?)
