Lenovo thinkpad entering values automatically

Hello,

I am using Thinkpad E470 installed windows 7 .Its behaving abnormally entering /////////// in textboxes and system is getting slow.
I read somewhere it is virus issue ,so as i don't have windows licence ,installed ubnuntu 16 agin same problem but entering >>>>>>>>>> symbols .

Please suggest me what might be the issue ,checked systems status in diagnosis option( F12 ) at the time of booting it is showing PASSED in all areas.

If it happens with two different OS, then it is what is in common. Change the keyboard!

do i need to replace laptop keyboar !!!

Or clean it out with compressed air or a vacuum
