Hello,
I have windows vista on my laptop. When i start my laptop it won't load desktop icons but do load everything else. To get desktop icons every time i have to right click on the screen n select view->show desktop icons(which is always with a right click for the first time n i have to disable that in first try n enable it in the other one).
I will appreciate if someone could let me know how can i fix it permannently. So i don' have to bring them up after everytime i start my laptop.
thx

Hi, to your problem, you may take the following steps to have a try.

1.Boot up your computer.

2.Drag your mouse just to the right of the start button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

3.Right click. A menu should appear. At the bottom of the menu, select "properties".

4.Check the box that says "Show Quick Launch."

5.Voila! The show desktop button should now appear right next to the start button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

Hope this helps.
