Dell Laptop Monitor grayish white

Hello,
Awhile back i dropped my dell centrino laptop literally three inches onto my couch on accident and the screen went black. Then when I tried to turn it on, the screen was black and then faded to a grayish white hue, and has done so ever since. The laptop still turns on and sounds to be operating well but nothing shows up on the screen, please help me.
