Windows XP wont start in safe modeClosed

Question

Hello, 
I cant start my windows XP in safe mode.all other modes works perfectly but while switching to safe mode at startup,a blue screen appears saying windows has been shut down to prevent damage.Any way to sort this out??

try running chkdsk from dos window.

To fix this issue run a Check disk on the computer. 

Instructions to do Check Disk

Please press the Windows key and R key on your keyboard together.
Now you will get a Run window. In that run window please type CMD and press on Ok.

 Now you will get a new black window. Inside that back Windows type 

chkdsk /r  and hit one enter key. It will prompt do you want to do it after a restart. Press on Y  and hot on enter once again. Now restart the computer. It will take 1-2 hour to complete the check disk on the computer.  After completing the check disk try to boot the computer in Safe Mode. It will be working fine.
