Hello,
Every time I try to access my work computer using remote desktop it says that that computer does not belong to this network or the name can't be found. Please help we've been at this for days.

Please confirm whether the firewall on it is not causing the trouble.

I checked the allows exceptions and all looks fine I've been using remote assistance to access the work computer. It gave me an IP address to but no luck using it either.

You should consider getting your firewall and security settings deactivated to carry out the task.
