Lights are blinking in compaq laptop

Hello,

Yesterday my laptop just shut off on me, I'm well aware that my battery may need to be replace. When plugged in it would normally work; now it won't work at all even plugged in. I can't get it to turn on for nothing; also, I do see blinking lights on the side put it won't power on, please help.

Hello,

Try this 1

Disconnect the AC power adapter --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power

button for 60 seconds --> Now reconnect the AC power adapter and try to

switch ON the laptop. Later put the battery back into the laptop.
