My Fn Key Has Stopped Working?

Hello,

I'm not sure what has happened but all of a sudden my Fn key and various shortcuts using it have all stopped working (eg Fn+F10=Mute)

I'm using an ASUS machine and cannot find any help anywhere.

Has this happened to anyone else and how did you sort the problem?
