My acer laptop has refused to turn on

Hello,
my acer laptop has refused to turn on.i connect it to power and it shows that the buttery light but when i press the power button it it refuses to turn on.

try removing the battery, press the power button and hold for a couple of minutes, plug the battery back, and try it once more
