What would you do if your spaceship crashed on the bottom of an ocean and you were the only survivor of the crew? Subnautica offers a fascinating story that takes place on Planet 4546B. Your mission is to survive and discover all the secrets that this mysterious planet keeps.

Plot

For unknown reasons, the Aurora spacecraft has suffered an accident whilst trying to land on planet 4546B. The purpose of the space expedition was to find a ship that disappeared on the same planet, many years ago. As soon as your characters exits the sunken spacecraft, he discovers that 4546B is colonized by an alien race known as the Forerunners, who travelled to the planet to find the cure for an infectious bacteria that had affected their species. It is your task to find a way to escape from the planet and protect yourself from the dangerous Subnautica creatures.

Gameplay

  • Endless exploration You will have to go through numerous scenarios while looking for clues and resources to survive.
  • Real survival: Not all the creatures that you will meet in Subnautica are peaceful. In addition to fulfilling your basic needs (hunger and thirst), you also have to be prepared to fight.
  • Day and night The time of the day in Subnautica significantly affects the gameplay, as the environment will change and different surprises await us.
  • Search for oxygen: Your oxygen reserve diminishes over time, meaning you will have to constantly get to the surface or look for oxygen-producing flora.
  • Construct: You will also have set up a base camp where you can be safe and store your food. In addition, you can use your base to refill your oxygen reserves. Make sure to keep an eye out for the Subnautica cyclops, a player-controlled submarine that can be used as a mobile base.
