Enable Audacity's Sound Activated Recording
You can configure Audacity to automatically start recording as soon as an audio source (above a defined threshold) is detected. To enable this feature follow these steps.
How to enable the sound activate recording feature in Audacity?
- Open Audacity.
- Click on the Edit menu > Preferences.
- Go to the Recording section.
- Tick the Sound Activated Recording checkbox.
- Set the Sound Activation level (in decibel - DB)
