Taskbar icons disappeared

Hello,
Recently when I booted up my laptop (i use Windows Vista), some of the taskbar icons at the bottom right of my screen were gone, the ones I happen to use the most. The icon that controls volume when I click on it, the icon that shows my internet connection status, and the one that shows my battery life. Is there any way I can get them restored to my taskbar?
