Hard drive not installed showing

Hello,
In my dell laptop a diagnistic test run automatically and showing hdd not installed but when i removed my hdd from laptop checked it with another system though external casing its working fine. I also checked another hdd with my laptop that's working which means my laptop havn't any problem
Is there anyone who can tell me the reson and how to resolve this?
