hi,
this may be a vga issue.
try this:
take out the battery, press and hold the laptop for about 20seconds, put the battery back and then boot the computer.
or you may try to boot in safe mode:
press F8 repeatedly when booting the laptop and then select safe mode.
then you may do a system restore.
