Hello,
Hello. My dell inspiron laptop turned itself off, the first time I was taking a shower so I assumed it is what it would normally do when not used for a while. I thence switched it on and it could not complete the startup procedure but switched off again. I tried switching it on but it could not. After a couple of tries I gave up on it.
After about 45 minutes I tried again and it started just to the point where it displays dell a bar below but again it shut itself off before it could display WINDOWS.
What do I do?
I think it needs an equivalent of how you would normally hold down two buttons on an android phone for a number of seconds to bootload it.

Try this
1. Remove the battery and cable.
2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.
3. Replug and start.
Good luck
