Facebook want to verify my ID

Hello,

I have been hacked and cannot recover my account. i get close......I think.

I seem to have been able to reset my password, and facebook sends me a txt with a link to 'verify my identity'. I click the link and basically end up in a loop trying to verify my identity.

Latest I got to a page where I can change email address for my FB account. After clicking continue to change email, i am directed to a page asking me upload a copy of my ID. I do not trust this at all. Is this normal...........or is this the hacker looking for more?

I would really appreciate any guidance here.

Hi

Your account has not been hacked. Yes it's normal for Facebook to ask for id.

Hello,

I certainly have been hacked. Everything about my account has been changed. I am even receiving emails from Facebook (at least i think its FB) in Vietnamese..........which coincidentally my account was hacked by a Vietnamese person. so I am very skeptical on how deep this hacker has gone. I have gone through every avenue FB has presented for recovering accounts, and have gotten nowhere.

Any idea how to directly get support from FB? It is so obvious my account has been hacked. And now the hacker has gotten into another account I am admin on.

Thanks for the link. I've been down that road multiple times already. The problem is is that whoever hacked me has changed the username and password and must have had it authenticated. Facebook doesn't recognize my phone number or email address anymore.
