Hi guys,
I have had my 1TB WD hard drive for over 4 months and it was working fine until this week. I tried connecting it to 2 computers but there's nothing.
It doesn't show any light or make a sound when i connect it but when i touch it, i feel like something vibrating a little (i think which means there's power going in i'm not sure)
i really need to get my school work off the drive as soon as possible. Please help.

Hi
It looks like a hardware failure to which only WD would have a solution for you.
Here is the address:

Good luck

It's just a clear case of physical damage. When the drive starts making noise when connected to the system then it means the internal part of the drive is damaged. Now its time to replace the drive.

I failed to find the serial number and the person with the receipt threw it away. So I have to take it to a technical expert but I haven't had the chance to.

The serial number is on the Passport, you don't need the receipt.

Tried that one but it was rejected. So i thought there's probably another number they want.
