No sound from Dell Inspiron to tv when connected to HDMI

Not getting any sound from my Dell laptop to TV when connected to HDMI. Utube works

Hi,

When plugged in to your TV via HDMI you do not get sound?

But, if you play stuff via YouTube you get sound out your TV?
