Laptop turned on but won't do anything

I tried rebooting my Acer Predator laptop today but when it was supposed to reboot, the screen just went blac and now the computer won't do anything at all. It is still turned on but I can't reboot it or shut it down using the power button. Please help.

did you press and hold down the Power button for 60 seconds or longer?
