Second hard drive is not recognized

Hello,

Recently i upgraded my pc with a ssd .... but now my old hard it's not recognized in bios .... i changed the cable ... the hard is working if i put him without ssd ... but with ssd he dissapear
(P.S. Sorry for my bad english)

Your MB may not be able to work with SSD! Have you verified it is SSD compatible?

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WHEN YOU KNOW THE REQUIREMENTS!

I solved the problem without any help on the internet
THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE : GO TO THE BIOS AND ,,LOAD DEFAULT" ON BOOT OPTION ( FOR ME WAS SELECTED RAID AUTODETECT /AHCI

Please i wish to know if and how can i use an external hard drive to boot and work with my laptop.(without an internal hard drive.?Thanks.
