Go with an ASUS! Here is one, that is under your price point:

Or even better, the 6GB version:

I think picking acer is a bad decision. Try other brands, like Asus, perhaps.

Predator 21 X is the best gaming laptop with the world's first curved screen. Carrying a 21-inch curved IPS screen that supports Ultrawide resolution (2,560 x 1,080 pixels), gamers can feel the sensation of playing favorite games differently. The screen is also equipped with NVIDIA G-SYINC technology to present a sharp display without tearing interference or minimal latency and lag when playing games.
This Predator laptop line is also known to have a very fierce performance. At the bottom of the screen, Predator 21 X is equipped with a Tobii eye-tracking sensor, a technology that allows commands in the game to be controlled with eye movements. This best gaming laptop is also equipped with "monster" specifications such as NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 graphics cards, Intel® Core ™ i7-7820HK processors, and up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 RAM. Not only that, Predator 21 X also features a mechanical keyboard.
Of course, to support the specifications being carried, the Predator 21 X has five fans and eight heat-absorbing pipes, of which three fans include the Acer AeroBladeTM fan technology. This thin metal fan will help significantly reduce temperature and increase game satisfaction. So, don't hesitate to have Predator 21 X, moreover the quality offered has been recognized by winning the 2017 Taiwan Excellence Award.

I would suggest something that can last 2-3 years or more, considering the rate at which
laptops are becoming null and void. MSI is always a safe option when value for money is concerned.
As going for anything less than 8GB of Ram is not ideal even for basic needs.
