I have an old CD from 2005 when I was on a Windows 2000 NT PC and when I try to access it on my Windows 10 LAPTOP I get an error message saying Non-Allocatable list. Can I make my ROM Drive recognise the CD somehow or is there a way I could modify my old CD Rom drive from my old PC and attach the data lead from CD Rom drive to a USB plug and plug it in to my laptop. I have the old power supply so that will not be a problem. Is it possible or do I need to install old drivers.

Serious answers please, if you do not know, don't show.

Thanks.

I am going out on a limb, but I believe the file structures have changed. Try this link, that will lead to others........
