Disconnect the power cable from the wall. Disconnect the power cable from the laptop. See if the power cord will come apart and make two cords (separate the black box from the other end of the cord). Now, take out the battery out of the laptop. Press and hold the power button while the battery is out, and the power cord is unplugged. Wait for 5 minutes. Now put it all back together and try again!

Yon try this:

1. Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery.
2. Hold down the power button for at least fifteen seconds.
3. Without replacing the battery, plug the AC adapter back into the laptop.
4. Press the power button to turn on your laptop.

Wow, what a great job. I guess I should have numbered mine.

Why does this work @rihana10?
