No signal to monitor

Alright so this is a weird one. When I am playing a game I will randomly have all signal to my monitors cut out. I can still hear audio and can hear the game working fine, only the signal to monitor cuts out. Checking the error reporting it looks like it's specifically dwm.exe crashing but no reason why.

I have tried a full clean install of windows, I have run a memtest on my ram and cpu, I have even replaced my graphics card.

Specs:

Motherboard: Z170A Gaming M5
RAM: 16GB
CPU: i5-6600
GPU: Was GTX970 Now is GTX1060
PSU: EVGA 750Watt Platinum

In case anyone else encounters this: It was a loose power cable to my motherboard.
