Packard Bell has not manufactured a PC for over 10 years. The hardware IS DEAD! But, you can try this,
Press the NUMLOCK key, does th elight display on , then push it again, does it go out? If so, the hardware is still responding. Press the windows key. Did anything display? Does the key board even have a windows key? Press CNTR-R and type EXPLORER hit enter....Anything?
