My laptop is not getting started

Hello,
I hadn't used my laptop for past 3 or more weeks. Back than it already had low battery I guess. I tried to get it on yesterday but nothing happened. I thought it may be because of the dead battery. I put it on charging. Still nothing worked. I have kept it on charging since yesterday.
If anyone can help me to figure this out. It's a dell Inspiron laptop
