I have a Toshiba laptop with windows vista which randomly shuts down (blue screen).
I've tried twice to do a restore to an earlier dates and both were not successful. I am connected to AC and battery I have only holds a charge for a few minutes and not sure if this may be causing the problem.

Thanks, Clyde

It is old hardware. Old hardware fails. There is no fix. Vista is no longer supported.

I also want to add:

Even if the drive was good, and everything worked, it would not run a modern Operating Systems! It is old architecture. Meaning: CPU would not meet requirements to upgrade the OS!
