Apparently the admin and guest options have been removed from my windows vista gateway computer and I can't remember the password on this old laptop i had packed away. I tried safe mode but it wont seem to start in safe mode. Any suggestions on how to access this old computer so i can pull my old files off?

Pull the harddrive, and mount it behind another pc with a sata to usb adapter, the adapters are about $20(us).
