IPod Touch not Recognized

Hello,
Just got iPod Touch and my Win XP SP3 doesent recognize it at all, same whit iTunes...
Why i plug in the USB it only charges but nothing else...
What can be the problem? Why doesent my Computer recognize it?

Plz help tryed everything that i could think of, and it was a lot...

Hello ,

Is it an original Ipod?

Try re installing Itunes , if you ipod is charging this is surely not a cable problem.

Also try acessing your ipod from another pc.

I see that i was blind... on the cable is printed charge only cable...
Stupid me... and yes i tryed all that you said... tryed everything ....
