Hi,
To hard reset a Wii, press the Reset button for a few seconds. Then when the Home screen appears, press the Power button until the power light turns red and the Wii turns off.
Unplug the Wii from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, reconnect the Wii to the power outlet and turn it on by pressing the Power button.
