Voice notes- Attachment unavailable

I noticed this problem on Monday 26th August. Voice messages on facebook used to work for me, but not anymore. The fact that they used to work for me until very recently shows me that my computer (Windows Vista) has the latest updates and knows how to perform the action of playing the voice messages. Thus the problem is probably not with my computer, but I'm not sure. I don't recall making any changes to my computer recently. I defrag my computer weekly and update it with the recommended updates by Windows and those are the only actual changes I make to my computer.

It shows a loading icon when I click on it, but it never stops loading and doesn't play the voice note.

I’m hoping someone can help me. A couple of days ago a friend started a new message thread on FB messenger. For him, he sees the entire conversation from the very first message. For me, I can only see like 25 messages, and whenever either of us send a message, the message at the top of my thread disappears. We live in New Zealand and are not using vanishing mode (it is unavailable to us in NZ so this isn’t it).

I’ve never had this problem before and none of my other chats have ever behaved in this way. I’m really confused as to what is going on.

Does someone know what settings I need to change so the messages we send each other remain in...

Hi I’m wondering if someone can please help me / explain why ... So When you search in Facebook messenger for one of your “friends” to message it comes up with “Recent Searches” which you can edit / delete o people in your recent searches and then it also has “suggested friends” which you can’t edit and I was thinking this is a list of people you usually contact or recently have contacted except for some reason in my “suggested friends” is someone I have not contacted in quite some time not on any Facebook forum, phone or other apps and they are second on my list. Why would that be?

A while ago, the 'Marketplace folder' disappeared from my Chats list on my iPhone Messenger app & I can no longer see FB Marketplace messages unless I search fork them by keyword. The folder is still present on my PC.

I've deleted & reinstalled the Messenger app on my phone & trawled endlessly through the settings & folder in the hope that i'd inadvertently archived the folder (or something equally as stupid) but have found NOTHING. I've Googled the crap out of the topic & found plenty of others with the same issue but not a single solution that has worked. Help!

So my voice messenger has randomly stopped working I haven't done anything different. I tried restarting the app, restarting the phone even reinstalling the app and it still won't work. I can't play voice messages nor send them the screen rotates briefly and then it was if nothing happened. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks
