Why can't i move my mouse when im typing?

Okay, so I can't move my mouse when Im typing or moving in a game. And I have seen other reviews, but there is no palmsense or smartsense and whatnot, I've checked. Can someone help?

It can be a setting to prevent you from bumping the touchpad while typing. Check your mouse properties or look in the system tray (bottom right next to the clock) for touchpad options. If you're using an actual mouse it shouldn't happen, make sure there's no problem with the mouse itself.
