Vanishing Messages

Hello,

So I have a question. Facebook states a person can only send or receive a vanishing message or secret message if the people are friends or have sent messages before. How would it be possible for the option of send a vanishing message come up on the message conversation if that person isn’t my friend and I know we have never messaged. The Facebook is an old but still active Facebook profile.

Hello, we've written a guide about Facebook Messenger's Vanish Mode.

You can't send a vanish mode message to someone that you have not previously messages normally. If you are not Facebook friends, and have never messaged you won't be able to. You will have to first message them normally / add them as a friend.
