Hello,

Ran into a strange one, in the past few days my Instagram won't refresh my grid, I upload a photo and it works as I get notifications, likes etc
But when I look on my grid the post doesn't show up?
Logging out and In fixing this but I have to do it every time, what's weird is I have 2 other accounts on my app that don't do this.
This hasn't always happened and I've been able to upload and see my posts in the past.

Any ideas?

I logged into Instagram desktop & I'm able to upload and see the post just fine once it uploads, I can't blame the app as my other accounts are fine.

System Configuration: Android / Chrome 96.0.4664.92

Hi,

It is possible that the app doesn't use the real-time version of your Instagram page due to old files in cache. Clearing the cache will force the app to use the latest files.

To clear the app's cache, go to Settings > Applications > Instagram.

Then, select Storage > Clear cache.

Hi,

This does help and makes my latest upload appear but then the issue continues and I have to clear the cache again.
Again this doesn't happen with my other Instagram accounts on the same app, only one account which I've checked is in good standing and has no strikes against it.

It's curious why this only happens with a particular account...

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Instagram. Test also with another phone if you can.

If the issue persists, report it to Instagram from the app.
  • Go to your profile,
  • Open the Menu > Settings,
  • Select Help > Report a problem.
