Hi,

I know this is an old problem probably with no straight answer. But I would really appreciate it if you give me any tricks which might help to enable the Instagram reels feature.
This is my wife's Instagram and she's really obsessed with it.

Notes:

- The device is an iPhone 13 pro.

- The other account on the same device has the reels.

- The account had the reels for the last 2 months, but suddenly it's not available since last week.

- I tried uninstalling, clearing history, updating the app, logging out, and I sent the help request "something is not working".

PS: I really can't believe after 2 years of releasing this feature, still there are so many people not able to use it. Isn't this a huge disadvantage to other content creators?

Thank you all.

You could have forgotten to update your Instagram if you can't find the Reels in your app. It's possible that the Reels option isn't working or showing because of an Old version. To use the Reels, you must upgrade your app to the most recent edition And Then scroll down 4-5 times in the search section until you see the your reels option there

Hi,

I understand that it can be frustrating when a feature suddenly disappears, especially if it's one that you use often.Make sure that you have not accidentally disabled your Instagram reels. Here are a few things you can try to enable the Instagram Reels feature:

  1. Check if the app is up-to-date: Make sure that the Instagram app is updated to the latest version. You can check for updates in the App Store.

  2. Check if your wife's account is eligible: Instagram Reels is available in certain countries and regions, and not all accounts are eligible. Make sure that your wife's account is eligible for Reels by checking Instagram's help center.

  3. Clear the app cache: Clearing the app cache can sometimes help fix issues with the app. Go to the settings on your iPhone, find the Instagram app, and clear the cache.

  4. Try using a different device: If the Reels feature is available on another account on the same device, try logging in to your wife's account on a different device to see if the feature is available there.

Regarding your comment about the disadvantage to other content creators, I understand your concern. However, Instagram Reels is just one of many features available on the platform, and there are other ways to create and share content. If you continue to experience issues with the Reels feature, you can try reaching out to Instagram's support team for further assistance.
