Attaching media in WhatsApp message only sees WhatsApp media

Hello,

    Since the Android update of December 11th, whenever I try to attach media to a WhatsApp message via the paper clip, then Gallery, only WhatsApp media comes up. Until last week, all media on my phone came up as selectable when doing this. If I tap the three dots at top right, I have the option of Gallery or Photos. These used to be combined on one screen so I could see them all on one screen when selecting an attachment. It's not a major issue, but it does frequently mean extra clicks that weren't necessary before.

Can anyone help?
