How do you unlink email addresses on laptop?

Hello,

I use Yahoo email via the internet and have 2 linked email addresses.  I want to unlink these as one is a shared email address.  I've found instructions for doing this via the app so have downloaded this and added both addresses and then unlinked them but this still hasn't unlinked them on my laptop.

Any suggestions please.
