Group chats not working on my phone.

For the past three days, I have been unable to send any messages on group chats.  

I can send to all personal chats without any issues. 

When I send messages from my PC is works perfectly for group and personal chats.  

I have tried WA suppprt, no luck.  Restarted my phone, no luck.  Cleared app data, no luck.  Reinstalled the app, no luck.

I have a Huawei P40 Pro with latest software update.  Also have the latest Whatsapp installed. 

Any advice, please?

Try removing WhatsApp from battery optimization. Another solution found in this thread consists in disabling the "Power Saving" mode of your phone, as it seems to interfere with the group chat feature.

Hello.  Power optimization is not activated, but did toggle it to see if there are any changes.  Still not working correctly, but thank you for the reply.

1. No internet connection issues.  Switching between WiFi and Mobile data has no effect, unfortunately. 

2. Both WA and my phone has been updated but I will keep checking for updates on WA and the phones software.
